10.12. O/D switch

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Include ignition.
2. Be convinced that the O/D OFF indicator is not highlighted. Press the O/D OFF switch and be convinced that the O/D OFF indicator is highlighted.
3. If the indicator does not work properly, continue check.

Tension check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the central console.
2. Include ignition.
3. Measure tension on contacts of the C269 socket of the O/D switch.

4. If tension on contacts of the socket of the switch differs from demanded, проворьте conductivity in the O/D switch

Conductivity check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery.
2. Disconnect the socket from the O/D switch.

3. Check conductivity of the O/D switch on C269 socket contacts.

4. Otherwise replace the handle of the lever of the selector.
5. If the switch works normally, check the electric chain going to the control unit by a transmission.
6. Connect the O/D switch socket.
7. Establish the central console.
8. Connect a wire to the negative plug of the storage battery.

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery.
2. Remove the central console.
3. Turn out four screws of fastening of the selector
4. Lift the selector block, disconnect the socket and remove O/D switch plugs.
5. Remove the block of the selector and remove an indicator lamp.
6. Remove the socket from the block of a lamp of the indicator.
7. Turn out two screws of fastening of the handle of the selector.
8. Remove the selector handle.
9. Remove the plug of the handle of the selector.
10. Remove the selector, the panel and the socket.
11. A screw-driver with a flat edge release socket contacts.
12. Take contacts from the socket.
13. Take wires via the panel and the plug.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Insert wires via the panel and the plug.
2. Come into contacts in the socket.
3. Establish the panel.
4. Establish the plug on the selector lever.
5. Adjust the provision of wires so that it was possible to establish the handle of the selector into place.
Prevention

Wires should pass deepening in the selector handle.
6. Screw two screws of fastening of the handle of the selector.
7. Establish a lamp.
8. Connect the socket.
9. Screw four screws of fastening of the panel.
