Do not serve a spark plug on the hot engine.
Removal

| 1. Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery. |
| 2. Disconnect high-voltage wires. |
| 3. The compressed air clear candles that will exclude dirt hit in engine cylinders after a vyvinchivaniye of spark plugs. |

4. Turn out a candle, using a candle key. For an exception of damage of a candle, establish a candle key strictly along a candle axis. |

Check

| 1. Connect a wire to the negative plug of the storage battery. |
| 2. Connect a spark plug to a high-voltage wire. |
| 3. Holding a spark plug special пассатижами with the isolated handles, connect the candle case to mass of the car. |
Prevention
Do not concern a car body during performance of the following operations.

4. The assistant should turn a cranked shaft of the engine a starter, thus between electrodes of a candle the steady strong iskroobrazovaniye should be observed. |

5. In the absence of an ignition spark, or an ignition spark weak, check a condition and correct the following defects:
– in the presence of a deposit clear or replace a spark plug;
– at pollution by oil clear or replace a spark plug;
– at wear or burning out of electrodes replace a spark plug;
– at destruction of a ceramic insulator replace a spark plug;
– at damage of a ring of a spark plug replace a spark plug;
– at violation of an interelectrode gap in a spark plug, adjust a gap. Correction of a gap is carried out by a podgibaniye of a lateral electrode. The central electrode by no means cannot be bent, as it can lead to breakage of an insulator and a candle exit out of operation. For a podgibaniye of a lateral electrode of a candle it is necessary to use the special tool. Interelectrode gap of a spark plug:
TED: 0,7–0,8 mm
BFD: 1,0–1,1 mm

3. Connect a wire to the negative plug of the storage battery.
